F Stop and aperture.
If a F stop is small and the aperture is wide, there will
be a small depth of field. If the F stop is big and the aperture is smaller,
there would be a larger depth of field. The smaller the F stop the bigger the
aperture. The bigger the F stop the smaller the aperture. In the image to the
right it shows different F stops and apertures. On the top one F/16 the image
has a smaller aperture with a bigger F stop causing the picture to be darker.
The bottom one F/1.4 the aperture is wider and the F stop is lower
this allows more light in the image.
